want to know what are the minimum funds required to show ?Financial self-sufficiency? while immigrating under Quebec-selected skilled worker program. Information on the official site is a bit confusing as one of the link from official site states that a single person requires 2657$.
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/official-immigration-application/requirements-programs/glossary.html#financial
On the other hand another link from CIC site states that a single person needs 10601 canadian dollars???
http://cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Secondly at what time point of selection/admission I need to submit the concerned proof? There is no requirement of bank statement etc in the required documents while applying for Quebec selection certificate as well as in the check list of CIC.

If you want to apply to Quebec, it is mandatory to have more than $2657 (for one person), but it is recommended at least $5000 (my experience)

However, if you want to apply to other provinces such as Ontario, Vancouver, Alberta, etc., it is mandatory to have more than $10601 (for one person).

During the interview, the immigration officer will ask you for bank statements or other proof.

Thanks for the reply anonymous...much appreciated.

Is it JUST during the interview or do I is still have to submit it together with my application for selection?

Take care and have a great day.

Thanks for the reply Sharon.

But in which part of the requirements should I include it? Together with the "contract respcting financial self sufficiency"? Because its not included in the list of requirements.

Thanks again and have a great day.

Quebec selection is similar to the provincial nominee program. Yes, Anonymous is correct when indicating a lower amount of settlement funds required for Quebec immigration.
