| Subject: Did they stop processing new applications? |
I heard somewhere that the CIC is not processing applications submitted since February 2008. Is that correct? If so, does this mean there will be changes to the way things were done? Anybody knows anything about this or is it just a rumor?

there is new legislation in process that will be making some changes to the selection process applied to anything submitted after February 28th. What those changes look like are still unknown. These changes only seem to apply to standard skilled worker applications.
As far as we know, the selection wheels of CIC are still moving along at their usual snails pace.
