Subject: Currency conversion
Hi there,

Do I need my balance amount converted into Canadian dollars. My bank gave me balance report only in US dollars.

Help please

Sorry,forgot to mention that I am preparing bank statements to show proof for settlement funds for a skill class worker.

Showing account statements in US dollars is fine. It´s the same (one-to-one conversion) anyway.

Thanks for the reply. But in Schedule 3, Economic Classes- Federal Skilled workers in Funds it says "Amount..in Canadian dollars". Can I just convert USD to CAD and type?

Yes, just convert to CDN$ for the form. But your U.S. bank account statements in US$ that you provide is fine. Again, the current conversion is one to one.

I told my bank officer to show in bracket how much in CAD. That´s enough.
