Well the NDP tried and at least, they tried.

Another vote and if passed again it goes to the Senate for rubber stamping. This has to happen before a summer election call. This violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms will become Law until challenged in the courts. There is a plan to challenge this legislation in the courts.
