Just to remind you, that this forum has been created for new immigrants to help each other. Long time ago when I was immigrating such tools did not exist, and I personally had many things that I didn´t understand. It was hard or impossible to talk to immigration officer to have your questions answered. I also didn´t have enough money to hire immigration consultant to answer my questions, so I have phoned few people that I new and that was all. Later, when I moved to Canada, I decided to build a forum where people of similar
interest could easily help each other and this forum was born.
There are few people who answered literally thousands of questions and they know who they are and we are all very thankful to them for their support.
Occasionally we have some of those that try to abuse this forum for what ever reason, but ignoring such users is the best way and they eventually all go away.
Recently it has come to my attention that some people are posting information and their experiences with other people, other agents, other firms but this should not be done here. So, do NOT post information about any specific person, lawyer, consultant and similar, OR I had a bad experience with a lawyer. You may answer a question it is better to use a lawyer for this and that, but specific names of law firms, people names should not be used. Such posts will most likely be removed.
I have updated our Rules page (point 13 added) and all rules should be respected so everyone is treated equally and with respect.
We will not tolerate any exceptions.
