I have applied for visitor visa extension of my mother on 30-may-08. Her visa is expiring on 15-aug-08. Current processing time is 62 days. If i don´t receive any correspondence from cic before her visa expires what should I do? Can she legally stay in canada? If the extension is rejected within how much time she should leave the country? Please advice.......

Please do not worry because according to the rules, until unless you hear any response on your mother´s application, she will be in status.
Do we have to submitt the PHOTOS for visa extension or not. Actually i have already applied the extensions of my dad twice before but this time i simply forgot if photos are required or not. Please respond!

Yes. You have to attach two photographs with name and date of birth written at back of photograph.
