Subject: re-entry to canada after refusal |

Hi,
I´m a US citizen. I was denied entry to Canada at WA/Bc entry port few months ago. Agent said that I couldn´t prove a strong intention of coming back to US after he learned that I was visiting my boyfriend of 3 years who is presently in BC on student visa for 1 year. Anyways, I live in Seattle and my boyfriend has been visiting ever since, as i still have lot of anxiety over crossing the border again.
My question is - what can I expect if I try to cross again? Do they keep the record of the previous refusal? Is my passport forever flagged with this incident? (I´m really not looking forward to being pulled aside again).
Thanks in advance.
