Dear Sharon,
please clarify my situation.
I m an Indian, lived in Serbia & Montenegro from April-2000 to June 2007 while serving on a mission. In Oct, 2006, I have applied my application for Canada PR to the Canadian Embassy in Vienna where my AOR at that time was. The reply from them was a File number and the appoximate time limit qoted in that was between 18-24 months for my applicaiton processing.
In June, 2007, I have moved to India permanently. So far I have not informed any of the CIC offices about my change of address in an ambiguity.
Now my questions are:
1. should I inform them(CIC Vienna) my change of address to India?
2. If I inform them what will happen to the processing of my file? Will it be processed from Vienna office or New Delhi´s office?
3. If the New Delhi office process my file will they process as per to the original schedule mentioned in my letter or will they process aocording to the Indian office schedules, that means for e.g.,I ve checked in the CIC India web that, now the approximate time for processing the applications is about 5-6 years.
How to I proceed next? Please advise.

if Vienna calls you for an interview - is it guaranteed that you can return there?
If you have not advised CIC about your change in address... how do you know the status of your application. don´t count for E-case to be prompt.
