hi i´m new here and i would like to know what to do about my situation...
i received a letter from the Canadian Embassy about my immigration application...
it says here in # 11 "proof of relationship with your accompanying spouse/common-law partner´s close relative in Canada"
to determine whether you have a qualified 1st degree relative in Canada, pls. visit www.c_i_c.gc.ca/EnGLIsh/immigrate/skilled/factor-adaptability.asp
... i looked into it and it says i have 5 points for having a sibling that is a citizen in Canada. my husband also have siblings there in Canada...
it also says here
if you/your spouse´s relative is a grandparent/s... pls submit birth and marriage certificates of you/your spouse´s parents
if you/your spouse´s relative is an uncle/aunt pls submit birth and marriage certificates of you/your spouse´s parents and
birth and marriage certificates of you/your spouse´s uncle/aunt in canada
if you/your spouse´s relative is a nephew/niece pls submit birth and marriage certificates of you/your spouse´s sibling (i.e. parent of you/your spouse´s nephew/niece in Canada)and
birth certificate of you/your spouse´s nephew/niece in Canada.
it doesn´t say anything about brothers or sisters...do i still submit birth and marriage certificates?

(in reply to: proof of relationship) you need to prove the relationship and that your sibling is actually in Canada. So, birth certificates that show common parents. Proof that your sibling is a permanent resident of Canada and is residing in Canada.
that may be a lease or phone bill.
approach it logically.
