I am permanent resident. Am I still eligible to sponsor my brother thru family stream program though i am currently sponsoring my husbandthru family class.My husband is here in Canada holding a working visa and working as engineer. Thanks.

According to the Alberta Immigration Nominee Program, you can sponsor any close relative through their family stream program.

You need to meet the LICO now that your family size has increased and you need to show that information sponsorship in process on any PNP family reunification type program.

Hi Sharon/Roy,
I have an aunt in calgary, alberta. To prove that she is my aunt, I got the following documents:
1. my birth cert. & marriage contract
2. Aunt´s (my dad´s sister)birth cert.
3. dad´s birth cert.
But i think i have a problem with my dad´s birth cert because his name there was written as
" Florencio deleon, Jr." but in my birth cert and marriage contract, his name was stated as " florencio F. de Leon".
Would that affect the validity of the documents in establishing that i am related to my aunt? Please help! THanks!
