what do you know about your representative? what have they told you?

CIC call centre staff are not necessarily the brightest crayons in the box. You may just be crossing paths. 2-3 weeks is not actually that long.

Your partner/sponsor paid processing fees and on that client copy which is the clients aka yours their is a bar code. The first person registered is the sponsor so have the sponsor call 1-888-242-2100 and give in the bar code. DOB address etc. or check e-cas with the bar code.

Stop panicking!

What does two and three weeks mean???? 23 weeks or between two and three weeks.

Is the representative authorized to charge a fee? If not CIC could send back your whole application to the mailing address which could of been the representatives address.

Is this an Inland or overseas spousal sponsorship?

Yesterday morning we got four e-mails from spousal sponsorship clients asking why we had not heard anything. Then the mail man comes and sponsor approval letter #1, 2, 3, & 4!

The representative if paid properly should have sent in your application by express post (at least) so he/she will have a tracking number for you to confirm your concerns.

Be nice ask simple logical questions and stop pointing fingers at others until you have probative evidence. When you flip and blame others you are calling into question yours and your partners own decision making skills.

You two hired this individual, if he/she is authorized you have a contract to protect your concerns and he/she (the representative) has errors and omissions insurance.

Think positive I understand the two of you want to get on with your lives in Canada but please start off with the correct foot forward.

Respect.
