hi, i applied for my spouse (lebanese ) in demascus in syria . everything went good we paid the fees and they said he will receive his visa max in june 9 . til now we didn´t receive anything simply they we r busy we didn´t get to his file. my questions :
-is there any time frame for this procedure or we have to wait .
-can a lawyer help us ( our case is approved but i dont know what took them too long )

you just have to wait. Student and visitor visas take priority this time of year and CIC also have lots of staff taking holidays. I know that does not help your situation very much but it is an annual frustration.
a lawyer will not solve anything or help things along.
I know its hard, but you are almost done.

Hi Ziad
I applied recently to sponsor my spouse, the docs are not treated yet (here in Canada) so I wonder when did you apply and how long it took for you before she got an interview and the visa date schedule
