I want to sponsor my parents under family category. I know it takes lot of times almost 5-10 yrs so if I start now it will be done in next 5-10 yrs. But I m just confused I m in the process of hiring live-in-caregiver. Visa papers are submited at New Delhi office last year and waiting period is 22 months. can I still go ahead and file the paper work for my parents under family category. Please advise very important issue for me. and if someone can suggest me how much should be my family income altogether.
I live in Toronto, ON married and have 2 kids

The Income issue LICO is on page 33 here. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/5196E.PDF
Hiring a LICC and Sponsoring is two totally different issues. One is just an employee.
