How is seeking friends and love in another country fraud? I am sick of north american women mentality and want to meet a foreign girl. I am sure foreign women are also looking to meet Canadians. I am free to meet a woman from anywhere and marry her?

There are many "professionals" who are in the US/Canada for paper marriage.

That doesn´t mean that all folks who seek life partners from abroad are fraud. There are many genuine cases. Unless it is not in lieu of money then it should be OK.

If you look around different communities in US, Canada, UK..many parents use to arrange their children´s marriage back home and manage the immigration..

I know in USA there are some established business they arrange Fillipino/Thai/Latin girls for the American husbands. 100% legal unless it is not just for money and immigration status.

Thanks for the reply DC.
I have kinda been thinking here and realized maybe I rushed posting that add and kind of didn´t word it so well but none the less I am going travelling over seas and maybe I should just wait to meet new people in real life for less risk involved, ect. I was just hoping to make contact with some new friends before I met them.
I could try an established business like you said if I continue to try meet people on the internet.
Thanks again for the tips

This is your basic human right Jon.

There is a common phrae for this types of bride in the US I can´t remember right on my head now.

There are literally many many sites available where you can search. Some are paid...

When someone gets married for the sole reason of immigrating to Canada, this is known as a marriage of convenience.

Under Canada?s immigration law, marriages of convenience are not allowed. Citizenship and Immigration Canada?s officers are specially trained to recognize genuine immigration applications, and they know how to detect marriages of convenience. They use a variety of techniques to uncover marriage fraud, including document checks, site visits and interviews with sponsors and applicants.

Canada?s immigration system is also set up in a way that discourages marriages of convenience. Anyone who wants to sponsor their spouse or partner to immigrate to Canada makes a serious legal commitment. As part of this commitment, sponsors must support their spouse or partner for three years, even if the relationship fails. If the couple breaks up and the sponsored person gets social assistance, the sponsor must pay back the amount of social assistance the former spouse received. Given the legal obligations, sponsorship should not be taken lightly, and everyone is responsible for ensuring that their marriage is genuine.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada recognizes that even genuine marriages can fail. However, if a person enters into a marriage of convenience and comes to Canada as an immigrant, enforcement action can be taken. This enforcement action could result in deportation, and is the responsibility of the Canada Border Services Agency.

All true.

That also doesn´t mean that CIC can can force someone to marry within Canada only...

when you post ´I am in Canada and am willing to help out a nice woman who needs help maybe moving to Canada´ on an immigration website... what does that imply????? The only thing not mentioned was the price.

Nobody is suggesting that Canadians must marry Canadians. 115,000 a year don´t!

Sharon,

Probably you misssed this before.

"If you look around different communities in US, Canada, UK..many parents use to arrange their children?s marriage back home and manage the immigration.. "

In this type of marriage; basically a trade in happens. Someone gets the permanant residency of a developed country like US/Canada or UK; and the other party gets a reliable (upto that point of course) sole mate from his/her native country. This type of marraige I saw even to the locally borned girls/boys by their parent´s choice. I don´t see anything wrong here if the marriages aren´t for human trafficing in exchange of money. Some of freinds in the US married locally to avoid long wait for Green card. Anything wrong there? I don´t believe so,

Apparently Mr. Jon is offering the same deal upto this point.
