Hi,
My husband sponsors me to Canada. Just have a question. Can I leave USA while I am waiting assessment from Buffalo visa office, in USA?
I am working in USA now. So I choose to send my application to Buffalo office in USA. I received file numbers from the office last week and wait for further assessment. I want to leave USA and go to Canada to meet my husband by Canadian visitor visa. Would this effect they make the decision?

Partly depends on your nationality. If you are don´t need canadian visa to visit then it is very staright forward. If you need to apply for a visa then have to diclose that you applied for immigration. In that case upto the visa officer you may be denied visit visa.
But it shouldn´t effect your immigration process.

forgot to say. I already have Canadian visitor visa. Just worry if I leave USA for good. Would that effect my application. My nationality is Taiwan.

Leaving USA for good before the immigration is finalized?
Not clear.
If you now enter canada and come back then there shouldn´t be any problem in the canadian side; however to enter into the USA you need to have proper US visa.
