My wife living in Winnipeg (immigrant)married when visited INDIA applied for my PR in Missisauga Centre alongwith all the required documents including my medical and police clearance in April 2008.She received a letter from Missisauga in May 2008 that the file is forwarded to New Delhi for processing.Now I want to know that will I also receive such letter of acknowledgement from New Delhi office or not? Secondly I want to know what will be the processing time in New Delhi? Thirdly and lastly I want to know whether my wife can come India to live with me till the clearance of my file as she is only immigrant and not the citizen of Canada.

she must technically be residing in Canada to sponsor you. She could visit but I would be very careful for how long.
You will not get a AOR letter.
How long? depends on how complicated or complete your application is. Family class is very efficient in New Delhi.

Thank You. Sharon. She is planning to come India by the end of September for 3 months as I am all alone here.My other family members are citizen of Canada.
My wife got Canadian immigrant in Feb.2007 and is citizen of India and our marriage case is routine not complicated as both were never married before marriage.Both are of same age group and education status.

My wife is planning to come India by the end of September for 2 or 3 months as I am all alone here. My other family members are citizen of Canada.
She got PR in Feb. 2007 and her last visit for marriage is from Nov. 2007 to March 2008.

If I had my interview to sponsor my wife who resides in India, in Dehli on Aug 13/2008 how long after that will her passport be processed to go to Canada, I also have already paid her permanent resident fee required within Canada Sincerely

my wife submitted case in missisaga on 6june.she received acknowledgement of receipt(AOR) on 16th july.now case has reached in islamabad.Canadian embassy wrote a letter to me that ur application is received in islamabad,submitt the following documents if u have submitted prior.so i submitted the emails and phone bills to embassy on 18 august.this letter was also contained the application number which i have noted.
all documents are complete now how much time they would take to process me application.plz help me.either they will ask me for interview or do some else process
