Subject: Review of application and submission of documents
CIC has asked me to submit updated application forms, experience certificates, police clearance certificate, bank statements and IELTS score.
I had already submitted all these documents along with application form(regular)way back in December 2003 when processing for my application had begun.

please tell me SHOULD I TAKE IELTS AGAIN OR NOT?I had 6.5,6.5,7.0,7.0 bands in IELTS taken in December 2003

if they requested it, then I am assuming there are no other options.

That´s usual procedure for CIC.Send those papers. If your deadline is not over then take the test. Good luck

they usually give you a date by which you must submit all the requested documents. If you can´t meet the ´deadline´, make sure you advise them in writing as soon as you can. they are not very flexible about getting documents.

how long past the deadline? I am not sure how long they wait before they assume you are no longer interested in Canadian immigration and close your file.

writing them to say you were busy moving to another country may not go over so well but you will need to make a request to keep the file open and tell them when you intend to get them the documents.

Hi Sharon,

I would also like to know, whether they except email?
So that i could write a email as suggested by you to keep my file open, and within couple of days i can courrier my documents to them.
If yes, Whats there email id?

I must say, this website has given me some hope.
Great work!

you got the letter in January/February??? April 1 or April 30th. You are at least 60 days past the deadline and you have not made any effort to contact them??? and people wonder why CIC applications are backlogged! take a bow Pankaj - you are categorically wasting CIC´s time.

IF you are lucky, the file may not be closed but get yourself a double registered letter to them fast telling them that you are a very sorry that you have ignored their request and please give you another opportunity to get them the requested documents by then end of August.

sorry if I sound miffed - I am. People are waiting and waiting and CIC is forced to deal with ho-hum applicants.
