Subject: Police certificates
  Hi,
I was going through the details about the things i need to do after my application for skilled professional is accepted. For the Police certificates section - I have one question in mind. It mentions that
"At the time we assess your application, you and all your family members who are 18 years of age and older
will have to submit police certificates for each country in which you have lived for six months or more since
the age of 18."
I will be working for more than 6 months in an European country as a part of my company´s assignment in near future. In that case will i have to obtain a police certificate from that country too ? Can this police certificate be obtained easily from the country?
Share your idesa please.

you need PCC from everywhere (in reply to: Police certificates)
Yes, you need to get a PCC from wherever (country) you worked/lived. Even I am getting it done from 2 countries where we lived for more than 6 months. :) Yes, obtaining a PCC is generally easy... the www.cic.gc.ca has all the details, each country has different requirements. Generally, they may ask for - finger prints, 2 pictures, the forms and declaration to be filled and some dollars or Euros.... as fee to process this certificate.

All the best.

Police Clearance (in reply to: Police certificates)
I have been asked to submit updated PCC ,though I had submitted one in 2003 when I applied. In 2007 I had changed my residence to other district in the same state in India but my passport bears the old address.Should I have to submit PCC from my new district police chief only though my new address is yet to be added to my passport or I have to submit two PCCs one from my previous district from 2003 to 2007 and another from my new district from 2007 to 2008?can I obtain PCC from my new district chief with my new address without getting my address changed on my passport? Can CIC grant me more time that the limit of 90 days as changing the address and getting the PCC will take more time? Please guide...
