| Subject: berlin sponsorship |

i sponsor my husband who live in germany. cic approve our application on 10 febraury. berlin started processing on 20 april(we check our e-cas to know that). since that, we din´t hear from ambassy of berlin,or receive a letter. we don´t know our file number. i tried to contact by mail berlin since 2 weeks, but no answer. my husband tried to call many time, but he reached the mail voice. we didn´t know what to do now. i feel like they forget our file.ins´t anybody in the same situation? what do you think? what did you advice us?

how were you able to check your status in e-cas if you don´t have a file number?
Also, when you said they approve your application, does it mean they accepted? So hoe did you know they accepted your application if you didn´t receive a letter?

i could check our status with the number of my payment bill.
my application(sponsorship) was approuve first by CIC-M(mississauga). they write in my e-cas that i am able to sponsor my husband and they transfert our permanant residence request to berlin ambassy which will decide to give PR visa to my husband.

Marie what your checking is your file and that just shows that a decision was made. They never say in e-cas that your approved as a sponsor and they have transferred your file to the Berlin Embassy. That comes in a form of an approval letter and there is only one copy ever.
Hopefully you have a copy of the forms so you can ascertain which mailing address you put down for your husband. CHECK THE MAILING ADDRESS!
Make a IMM 5475 and you and your husband can sign same. Scan it and send a case specific inquiry to the visa post with the kit number that is on your approval letter. They can track it by the kit number and your client ID number. Kit number is more effective for the visa post.
If your in Germany walk into the consular section and demand answers.
