why do they ask to do medicals before even checking the application? i sent in my pnp application, got AOR and they are asking me to do medicals.

wouldnt it be better first look at application and maybe if their is something wrong refuse it, without making the applicant going through the med proccess. u know what i mean?

what year would you like you PNP complete?

The assumption is you qualify and that the medical is the last hurdle not the first.

Canadian immigration is way to easy, they need some more regulations to make it more strict. half the world would qualify if they apply today...they need a better gate keepers over there.

hang on a minute - why are you whining. You claim you submitted a PNP application which you already know, gives your application priority. Are you suggesting you don´t qualify and have submitted a fraudulent application?????

LOL what? why would you say that? i did submit my pnp application and got AOR. Im confident about my application and have nothing to hide. i was just saying that its very easy to qualify and get PR. be it as a skilled worker, PNP or family class.

all i was pointing at is that Canadian immigration is not very strict comparing to other countries. they let most people in.

Anonymous,

You are missing the whole point about PNP. Once a province approves you, the only thing CHC would do is check your medical and security background, nothing else. Security background is done at the same time as you are doing your medical. It’s a simultaneous process. If something negative comes back on either, they will make a decision based on that.

If you had applied under the federal SW program, then they would have checked your application prior to asking for medical.

Under PNP program, CHC does not look at your file for anything other than medical and security. Province would have done that already, otherwise you wont have received PNP approval.
