Local Requests
Applications are made by letter, which must be written in Arabic and state the reason for the request. Applicants must include four 4x6 cm photographs, a copy of the passport they used in Qatar with the dates of entry and departure clearly shown, their current passport and their residence permit. Applications should be mailed to:

Director of Criminal Evidence and Information Department (C.E.I.D.)
P.O. Box 23004
Doha
State of Qatar
Non-Resident Requests
Applicants may obtain certificates from a Qatari embassy or consulate by providing the application requirements listed above, as well as fingerprints on an official form from the security department of the country in which the applicant currently resides.

hi i work before in qatar last june 2006 to july 2007 and my fiancee petition me as a fiancee visa but the embassy said i am approved but the issuing me a police clearance in qatar,i do already what site said...i already past my papers and do all the requirements that what site said,now i dont hear form thier office,and its almost one month now,a lot of people trying to get police clearance in qatar,i hope that there is easy way to get police clearance thank u and hoping for your response...enshaalah and shukran

how to follow-up the application (in reply to: Police Clearance from Qatar)
My husband and I are having difficulty getting one. We sent the application twice, one was directly mailed to the P.O.Box address which we were told and the second one was sent to the Qatar Embassy based in Philippines which was also an instruction given to us by the Qatar Embassy. It´s been 4 months since then but we can´t seem to get a reply. My fear is that we will never get one and my family will not be able to join me here in US. I can´t think of any other solution to this problem. It´s so frustrating to just wait and can´t do anything. DHL is the official courier of Qatar and they have no idea also how to follow it up. Can somebody please help us? I´m afraid my petition to my family will get canceled if we can´t provide the Police Clearance.

I´m already in canada and would like to apply for permanent resident. From Abu Dhabi i travel to qatar just to get a police clearance. But now i can´t afford to do it since im in canada. Kindly advice me to how to get a police clearance in qatar.

We stayed in Qatar Oct. 2004 till May 2005,the purpose of our application is for immigrant to canada and our application for Police Clearance Certificate thru Qatar Embassy-Oman r´ almost 2 months now and we´re not getting any reply nor feedback on what happened to our papers/documents submitted to them. I do the folow-up from time to time until we came out w/ the decision of going to Qatar,but from where and what dept. in MOI Qatar we will do the follow-up? There´s no application reference number was given to us by Qatar Embassy-Oman. CAn anyone help us.

Our PCC request is running to 4 months now, we don´t know who could help us. Even we wish to go to Qatar we don´t know from where we can do the follow-up. All our documents submitted to Qatar Embassy (located in one of the GCC country) and no reference number of application has been given to us. We have told them about the reference number they doesnt even knows about it. Now, it´s running to 4 months and they told us to wait (without specific period of time). Our purpose of request is for our immigration application to canada why they are so difficult to please. I wish no one will require a PCC from Qatar.
