|
I am trying to get this information from the CRA website.
I am confused.
Does anyone know that if you have 2 jobs in Canada in the same province that add to much more than 40h/week do you end up paying extra tax on that after one year ?
If yes how much ? is it worth is to have 2 jobs ?
Thanks for helping

(in reply to: Canadian Income Tax on 2 jobs) Add ALL the income from all jobs (2, 3 or whatever) and treat it as the GROSS income for the tax year. Yes you do pay tax from all income. If you make more, you pay more. This often serves as a dis-incentive from making too much money. I know people who stopped working more so they can stop paying too much to the Government and also get more free time to enjoy life.

(in reply to: Canadian Income Tax on 2 jobs) Yes if you work 2 jobs you pay more tax. tell your 2nd employer to deduct more tax on the job.
