Subject: funds for PR
hi.. can anyone tell me how much funds should we show available while applying for PR from India for a family of 3. i know the website says around 17000 dollars but i would like to know if we show more, will it be of any difference??

Extra funds (more than minimum) are not going to help in anyway with the skilled worker immigration process.

Hello Indira,

No they do not have additional points for it so does not make any difference.

For fund they do not consider the surrender values of LIC policies. Moreover they also refuse to accept the fixed assets like land/plot/house etc. Pl. show liquid / bank deposits only.
