You´re right. No one should be "bashed" by just asking a question and looking for help here. Most questions here are about the legal process of immigrating to Canada.
But when looking for a solution to an illegal act, I don´t think you can expect a dry answer on how to get around the consequences. There´s some personal problem going on and that needs to be raised and mentioned, that´s all. This is really not a forum for helping to solve illegal actions. That´s why you´ll see comments on the behavior, since that´s really the problem that needs solving.
You´re lucky it didn´t come up on reentry to Canada. But I wouldn´t feel so sure that that´s the end of the story as far as data not shared. As Helper said- stay put, hope for he best, and do not repeat.

How did she manage to get the PR? Did she not mention her US visit in background check?
I smell a fraud here as well. Is she your real spouse? or you just helped her to get the PR?
In India she might get aways by bribing officials. But if USA is going to refer her case to Canada as well then I guess you both are in a big trouble.

I was going to say, if she is in trouble in India, and they don´t let her return to Canada, if she fails to pass the PR requirements 3-5 years?? I think?? then her PR could be revoked at that time.

travelling between countries with someone elses ID is no small thing. As others have suggested, what else has she done?
What did she do to gain entry into Canada? Has she also cheated on her residency?
People rarely do such things as a one time behaviour. Most people would be to afraid of getting caught. so... what else has she done???
