Iam working in Dubai i have understood the police clearance procedure i wanted to know once the police clearance certificate is issued how many days is it valid or is it valid for 6 months 1 year as i dont know when i will apply for the visa as iam waiting for some paper work and iam Indian origin for Indian police clearance idf i apply in Indian Embassy how many days does it to come to my hand.
I am applying for my family also my wifes passport expires in Feb 2009 if i apply for visa in October 2008 will there be a problem with passport expirey.
Please help me

Samy, ask someone in India to apply at the Passport office. YOu will get it in one day.
You might be able to fax a letter alongwith a copy of your passport.
BUt, have someone at home go and talk to the passport office that issued your passport.
