Subject: Canadian Language Proficiency Test from USA |
Hi,
I am a legal alien in Texas, USA and plan to apply for immigration to Canada. Can anyone advise on how can I get the Canadian Language Proficiency Test without having to travel to Canada.
Thanks

(in reply to: Canadian Language Proficiency Test from USA) If you are good at either English/Canadian French you don´t need to take any test.
If you know English/French and either one of them is not ur mother tongue then you need to give a letter saying why u don´t need to take the test. My native language is neither english/french, but all my education was in English medium. So i mentioned that and they never asked me to take any test.

(in reply to: Canadian Language Proficiency Test from USA) HI,
U better take IELTS exam from any test center in the US. Follow this link for test centers http://www.ceii.org/ielts_centres.htm
Having a proof of ur proficiency in English makes interview waiver mush easier otherwise u r at sole discretion of the CIC officer. A minimum score of 7 is required in all 4 parts of the test to get u full points.
