Subject: Expenses incurred after landing for PR process etc
Does anybody know and would like to share what are the expenses incurred after landing, for PR processing and other governoment / official work(s) related to immigration.

Further, is health insurance required if one is travelling to Canada for first time landing and would like to return back in a week?

Thanks in advance.

Insurance is never REQUIRED but it is RECOMMENDED to handle emergency situation.

There are no expenses in terms of processing any thing like health card, SIN Card etc. Only you need to pay the fee for Driving Lisence if you are applying for one.

Applying for 1st time PR card..healthcard...SIN card are all free (don´t know the recent though).

Health insurance for 1 week is upto you, not mandatory.
