Subject: BRINGING FAMILY ALONG -- ON WORK VISA
Hi.I´m from the Philippines.I´ve recently been offered a contract by an employer to work in Alberta Canada. I am still currently processing my documents to submit and considering to bring along my spouse and children with me.My agency told me that aside from it being costly, IT ISNT A GUARANTEED APPLICATION as these things depend on the approval of my application.

I hope you can help me clear some of these things :

1. Is bringing my family along on A WORK VISA POSSIBLE?do you know of people similar to my case who got there successfully bringing their family along?
2. Is this true--the no guarantee thing? And if it is no guarantee, WHAT are OUR CHANCES OF BEING APPROVED?
3. Most Family Immigrants i know from here, land in Canada WITHOUT JOBS yet.Why is it anymore difficult with a WORK VISA and BRINGING ALONG A FAMILY--where there is already security of job tenure upon arrival in Canada?
4.IF EVER I GET DENIED AT THE CIC (God forbid!) can we re-apply? when and how soon?
5.IS IT ALSO POSSIBLE THAT ONLY i,THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT, GET APPROVED BUT MY SPOUSE AND CHILDREN ARE NOT APPROVED? or the other way around?
6. I have a 4 year old, what kind of visa does he get? He´s not a student yet.
7. IF EVER WE DO GET APPROVED, WILL IT BE EASY FOR US TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCY? How soon can we apply for PR?
8. Being approved to bring along my family, does this mean WE HAVE TO TECHNICALLY DEPART AND ENTER ALBERTA TOGETHER? i was thinking if i could possibly go ahead for 1 week or 2 weeks and settle down first (like find a house, etc etc)--how IS THIS POSSIBLE?

this would be all for now. I hope i get good feedbacks. Thank you very much!

1. YES
2. You have to prove that you have the experience (3 years) to do the occupation offered so how could anyone guarantee the visa they are not the decision maker.
3. The issue of issuing a temporary visa is that you would leave at the end of the temporary visa and if your whole family is in Canada and you guys have not traveled it could reduce your chances.
4. Same day in theory.
5. NO not unless you apply that way but if one is found inadmissible all will be refused.
6. CVV
7. Same day in theory you arrive.
8. PA must go first and yes that is possible BUT have you research housing costs in Alberta?????????????

WHAT HAVE YOU RESEARCHED?
