Hi, I am sponsoring my 15 year old child and on page 2 of the Application to Sponsor and Undertaking form-IMM 1344, I ticked Dependent child but next to this are the letters A, B and C with check boxes. What are the meanings of A,B and C? do I have to check any of these boxes or just ignore them?
They must have some meaning for CIC to put them there.
Appreciate your help urgently.

Since the principal applicant is the person you want to sponsor (your child), and the page 19 (C) of the guide 3900E explains:
"Note that if the principal applicant, or a family member referred to in 3 or 4 is a dependent child,
you must check box A, B or C, as applicable."
Meaning of A, B or C (Page 6)
Dependent children.
Your child or a child of the person you are sponsoring will be considered a dependent child if that child:
A. is under the age of 22 and not married or in a common-law relationship; or
B. married or entered into a common-law relationship before the age 22 and, since becoming a spouse
or a common-law partner, has
? been continuously enrolled and in attendance as a full-time student in a post secondary
institution accredited by the relevant government authority and
? depended substantially on the financial support of a parent; or
is 22 years of age or older and, since before the age of 22, has
? been continuously enrolled and in attendance as a full-time student in a post secondary
institution accredited by the relevant government authority and
? depended substantially on the financial support of a parent; or
C. is 22 years of age or older, has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since
before the age of 22 and is unable to provide for him/herself due to a medical condition.
