I think so, since they will accept:

? Money Order
? Cashier?s Cheque
? Certified Cheque
? Bank Draft

Fees should be made payable to the "CANADIAN CONSULATE GENERAL"

Good luck!

Wire Transfer??????? Why would somebody even think about wire transfer when Canadian Embassies are not providing any bank account information. Western Union Money Order is acceptable however, i would suggest that you get this money order from bank not western union. Just a suggestion......

you don´t need to provide bank info for a money wire. just a name and a country.

I am awake. Western union does money transfers and money orders. Not everyone understands the difference so it is never stupid to make sure they are clear. One will work... the other will not.

wakie wakie.

Well, you defintely need the bank information and swift code for wire transfer, the name does not do the job. Not even in North America. So, sharon you need to eduacte yourself on this.

yes, you need banking information for a bank to bank transfer.

I have sent 100´s of western union money wires overseas thank you very much. I supply a name, and a city. they go to a western union office and supply the transaction number and get their money. done.

For your kind information that kind of transaction is not called wire transfer. Western Union does need name and country only to send money which is transferred in minutes but that isn´t called wire transfer. Do you think this kind of transfer can be done for Canadian Embassy. Not at all. Western Union has agents network where the money is deposited with a branch for example in Canada and they electronically notify their agent in that country to pay the receiver. This is called network transfer not wire transfer. Wire transfer is done through banks only which needs, account no. bank address, swift code and receiver´s full name. Do not mix up western union with bank wire transfer. If you do a wire transfer through bank it takes 3-4 days thats why they charge nominal fee, while western union charges money and makes mony on exchange rates as well.

Just to provide you more information on Western Union Money Transfer System, go to the link below and read yourself. It is not wire transfer. Sometimes, you should accept that you are not alawys right and this would be so nice of you.
