I filed my application at Buffalo Center. The interview has been waived. Only Medical exams (with PR fees) requested. No further documents were asked for. I did my medical exams in end of July 08 and mail tracking shows that the exams were delivered on Aug 14 08.
Review this forum shows that most of the applicants hear from Buffalo center 2-3 months after the delivery of their medicals ...waiting time for few is either shorter or longer...Individual variation is noted but the average is still between 2-3 months.
I have a job offer in Canada and my category is skilled worker. Joining the job position is contigent on the successful securing of the permanent residence in Canada. The starting date of the jib should be July 2009.
Will I be hear from Buufalo center in a suitable time? Should I writer a letter to them to explain my situation regarding the job offer starting date?
The interesting thing is that I live in Buffalo too...I pass across the immigration center everyday in my way to work!!
Any input from the recent applicants or those in the same boat is appreciated.

You still have TEN months, Just relax and enjoy life USA and let them know about job offer and the date.
