Hi,
We recently ( wife and myself ) received landing papers and passports with immigrant visas. We are going to have baby in few weeks( new addition to the family ) and We cannot land before baby´s birth on health and insurance reasons.
So I want to know whether we can land with baby as visitor on US passport and sponsor baby later from Canada. Are we going to have any issues at the Port of Entry, do they let us in.
Please advise.

(in reply to: Need info/Advise) I would suggest that you actually contact the immigration and ask them what should you do. You can not bring baby on visa, I think they will have to add the baby to your application.
But regardless of what I say, I think the best option is to contact them and ask what to do.
All the best!

Baby is a new case (in reply to: Need info/Advise) In my opinion, the baby is a new case, and I don;t think baby can get the immigration visa very soon. You may apply for a visitor visa for baby first. Good Luck!

(in reply to: Need info/Advise) Jassy´s right. You won´t be land without your new baby being added to your application. If you have a baby before you send in your passports for visa stamping you´d just have to inform the consulate handling your application about the baby being born, submit a copy of a passport for your baby and pay the appropriate fees; but given the fact that you and your husband have already received your passports stamped with your immigration visas you defenitely need to contact CIC and/or an immigration lawyer and ask them what to do. It´s too bad that you can´t land before the baby is born and then return to the U.S to have the baby.
Best of luck and congratulations on the upcoming birth of your child.
