Subject: returned application - Please advise |

My application was returned as CIC Buffalo wanted evidence (like the I-94 or I-797(H-1B visa) ) that I have stayed in the US for 1 year atleast. I am the principal applicant and can furnish these documents as I have stayed in the US for more than 6 years now.
Does the same apply to my wife who is on a H-4 and hasn?t been in the US for a year. Is it necessary to show that she has stayed in the US for a year as well. Please advise

No you do not need. (in reply to: returned application - Please advise) Hi there,
You do need to show that your wife is a legal resident in the US.
SEcond you would need a police certificate for yourself and for your wife from all the places where you have lived for more than 6 months after you and your wife turned 18 years of age.
As you both have been in states for more than 6 months you both need police certificates.
also you would need FBI related clearance letter / certificate too.
