Subject: Urgent question re: Job offer & FSW!!!!!
  To Sharon, Roy and Bill,

Also for those who knows...

I just have an urgent question.

I asked an agent to find a possible employer for me and my husband and
Now, just today they called me that there is a job opening in a chain of
retail store for a tire company in Alberta being offered for my
husband. They need about 7 people and for my opinion it is not bad as entry level work and I also want to apply but the agent said they have to ask the employer first for I may be over-qualified. The vacancy is very urgent as there is already a pre-approved LMO waiting.
My question is does employers rejects applicant for being over qualified? I´m an engineer
and currently a product manager, and we currently have FSW SAP application in-process, I am the principal applicant. But I´m willing to start in an entry level and to be trained inorder to have a canadian work experience.

Also, if incase we get hired, can we transfer our FSW SAP application in Canada and wait for it there while we are working? We applied FSW SAP in CIC Taipei, Taiwan last Aug 27, 2007 and was given 20~26months waiting time, currently in-process. We have about 10months waiting to go...We are currently holding residence visa here in Taiwan.
Or do we need pull-out our application and re-apply when we get to Canada?

Or should I just ask my husband to go first, and for me to wait for the FSW in Taiwan for the meantime?

Thanks in advance for your kind input!

Did I miss something here?????

Do you have three years of experience in retail?????

What is a product manager?

Do you have a signed contract from the employer stating that he/she will cover your flight costs (two way) because of the low skilled occupation? This is a requirement!!!!

LOL the text of this is # 13 and now I go check my lottery tickets. LOL Think positive I´ll win!

Sorry but you asked and you asked because if it sounds too good RUN!

Hi Roy, Thanks for the input.

I haven´t seen the contract yet, my husband does have more than 3years experience in retail store because he owns a retail store.

For me, i don´t have but i was a sales engineer before.

I haven´t talked to the employer yet, the agent just asked if we are interested.

Yes, employer will cover the air fair and they don´t require work experience because they will provide the training.

Who cares what the employer thinks about work experience. The Visa Post requires the experience.

It sounds better this time. Depending on where you are residing it might be okay.
