I sponsored my sister, she is 21 years old now. she was included in the sponsorship application for my parents as dependent child..

I am just curious if she is allowed to work for part time jobs like? teaching English to Koreans without fixed salary? just seasonal basis and the pay is not even big.. just part time job.. she is currently enrolled. will this affect her application?

so best thing to do is to let her stop the job? or because of this she will not considered anymore? she does not remit to the philippine government....

Does this mean that she is not considered dependent anymore even if she worked for 2 weeks only? is she already out?

Roy said it was OK for her to work part time as long as she is enrolled in school and living in your parents house.

DO NOT TAKE RISKS which may disqualify you as a dependent!
You have to be a FULL TIME student at a accredited university to qualify as adependent. Please have patience.

a - read the question and then read the answers.

a part time job does not preclude being a full time student (which must be the case to be a dependent child). a part time job also does not imply that a dependent is not under the financial support of parents. It means, that someone has the common sense to earn a little cash to help pay for things - just like every other north american student has to do.
