HI, THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER BUT I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS. FROM THE ANSWER YOU PROVIDED TO ME.
WHAT ARE RECIEPTS? AND I DONT HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS IN CANADA.. WOULD THAT BE A PROBLEM? IM MARRIED AND MY HUSBAND IS NOT LEGAL IN USA TOO LIKE ME. AND I HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO WAS BORN HERE... CAN I STILL PUT THEM ON MY APPLICATION? AND ALSO IM NOT PLANNING TO GO TO CANADA RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I STILL HAVE TO FINISH A COUPLE THINGS HERE IN USA BUT MAYBE IN A YEAR OR SO ILL BE ABLE TO GO. BUT I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD WAIT UNTILL IM READY? OR IF I CAN APPLY NOW.AND ALSO, DO I NEED A LAWYER? PLEASE HELP ME. WHAT ARE YOUR SUGGESTIONS? THANKS SOO MUCH FOR YOUR ANSWERS

first, what sort of application are you indending - skilled worker?
if so -
receipts are the papers you have when you buy something that shows you paid for it.
you can include your family in your application but it is my understanding you as the principle applicant must legally be admitted into the US to apply there.
skilled worker applications take 2-3 years to complete
do you need a lawyer? I would say no but you have a status issue to work out. A lawyer cannot perform miracles so read everything very carefully to determine what you can and cannot do.

IM NOT LEGAL HERE IN THE US. I ENTERED THE USA WITH VISA BUT THEN IT EXPIRED. BUT DO YOU THINK THAT I SHOULD START A PROCCESS THEN?? OR NOT??? CAN I START THE PROCCESS HERE IN USA TO GO TO CANADA OR WOULD IT BE BETTER FOR ME TO DO IT IN MEXICO

No need for lawyer. Download the application, fill it and mail it. Provide the required documents.
It is a tough question regarding the legality of your status. I read some postings in the past from illegal aliens who were successful. Go to other forums and search for their postings.
If you apply from the US, it may take one year to two years, depending on the complexity of your case. Therefore, you can start immediately even if you are not ready now.
