Subject: PCC from India when applying at Buffalo
  Hi,

I am planning to apply for immigration to Canada, from Buffalo. My question is do I need to get a PCC from India and submit it along with the application or the PCC will be acquired by the consulate itself. I have read contradicting instructions, which is why I am confused. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

India they do their own background check but I am not sure if u giving a PCC will quicken the process.

Well I had the same problem... I am assuming that you are in Canada or USA right now and so applying to buffalo...

Here is what you can do... go to the Indian conslate and ask for a PCC.. the Indian Consulate dows provide the same service and will issue you a PCC.

I got mine done at the Indian Consulate in Toronto and I got my PCC in just 3 days... They are quick and it will work fine...

Cheers... Hope it helps and Good Luck...
