Dear Friends,
We are permanent residents of Canada and have a new born baby. We will complete 2 years out of canada (due to contract commitments) and will be returning shortly for good to Canada.
We are blessed with our second child and wish to confirm if we have to apply for visitor visa for our second baby to enter Canada or are there any other application forms to be filled.
Thanks for any useful information provided.

When your residing in Canada you will have to sponsor your child since you chose to not reside in Canada and have your child born in Canada "get in line".
Yesterday I met with a Dad who has a daughter who was given PR status just like you Chris. The lady got married and immediately pregnant and delayed sponsoring her spouse. Mistake #1
The lady gave birth to her first child in Canada.
Smart decision.
The lady takes her newborn child and goes to her country to reside with her husband clearly understanding the IRPA. Mistake #2
The lady then gets pregnant again and decides to sponsor her husband while living with him in his country. Mistake #3
The lady completes her forms herself and lists the dates of cohabitation. Mistake #4
Her second child is born in her husbands country. Mistake #5
Her Visa post sends her a letter dated July 26th 2008 which states from the information submitted by her it appears she is not residing in Canada you have 30 days to submit evidence of residency in Canada.
FINAL MISTAKE #6
THE LADY FLIES TO CANADA AND WITHOUT SEEKING ADVICE COPIES PROOF OF AN ENTRY STAMP THAT SHE HAS ARRIVED IN CANADA.
IS THIS RESIDENCY PROOF? LOL
Chris Come back to Canada sponsor your child income is not an issue. DO NOT COMPLAIN REGARDING PROCESSING TIMES.
