Hi,
I want to apply for VISA "under Skilled workers and professionals: How to apply?Simplified application process"
1. I want to get Police Clearance Certificate. How to get this PCC. should i contact to local police station ?
2. My school leaving certificate is in local language ie. Hindi language. Will Xerox of this certificate is acceptable ?

1. PCC canbe obtained from Local Police station.
2. You need to get your certificate transalated into english language and notorized

you will not need your police cert just yet wait until you are asked for it that will be sometime yet.

I HAVE BEEN IN ABUDHABI FROM MAY-2006 TO AUGUST-2007.
WHEN I EXIT FROM ABUDHABI I OBTAINED PCC FROM ABUDHABI AND NEVER RE ENTER THE COUNTRY.
NOW CIC, LONDON IS ASKING FOR MY UPDATED APPLICATION.
CAN I SUBMITT ABOVE MENTIONED PCC FOR CIC EVALUATION PURPOSE?

I think police certificates are only valid for the maximum of 1 years (6 months in some cases). So if you got yours in August 2007, it may not be valid any more.
Can someone verify this as well?
