Hi All,
I am sponsoring my husband and Buffalo received our complete application on April 21, 04.
Am I being delusional in thinking that we´re almost there?
Anyone have an idea on approximate processing time other than the statistics posted on the CIC website?

Have your heard anything from them? Did your husband already send clearance report? Do medical exam? Paid fees?
If you already did that all order the CAPS just to check what is going on.

Hi,
I don´t think that you´re delusional in thinking that you´re almost there. From what I have heard, the average processing time for spousal sponsorship application in Buffalo is roughly 9 months.
I´d like to repeat what Jassy said: Has your husband submitted all his police clearances? His medical? Paid all the fees (including the Right of Permanent Residence fee)? Has Buffalo contact your husband requesting any additional information?
On top of that...what does your husband´s E-client say? Did Buffalo begin processing his application in April?
If you haven´t heard anything from Buffalo by the middle of February, definitely consider ordering the CAIPS notes to see what is going on because I know people whose applications were received by Buffalo after your husbands (myself included) who have already received their passport requests.

Thank you all... How do I order the CAIPS notes?
btw, my husband had his medical taken in Dec. 2003. We sent our application on Mar. 1, 2004.
April 20, 2004. I receive the green light from CPC-M
April 21, 2004. My husband receives confirmation from the Buffalo Office.
Since then, a big silence...

From what I understand CAIPS are sent through a private company. How do they have access to our private information?
