Morning Rant
The government of Canada wants to keep students who have been educated in Canada as well workers who have worked in Canada, in Canada.
These people have been waiting for years to hear this good news regarding the CEC class. Representatives have been waiting for years to start processing these CEC types of applications.
Now a total of thirty staff WILL be hired and TRAINED to process these applications---THIRTY STAFF!!! They have not even hired or trained the staff, yet applications will be accepted in October just 22 days from now.

WOW since the "Building a Nation" CIC standing committee report they have been recommending SWAT Teams of Visa Officers to go to particular missions with heavy case loads to deal with the back logs. That was before June 28th 2002!!!!!
How long did it take the Liberals or the Conservatives to send off such teams. In every H&C application, I write "would not the local CIC officer sitting in Scarborough, Etobicoke, Montreal or Galgary local office not want to spend some time in Manila, Beijing. Paris, Rome or Moscow to assist with their case loads".
MUST BE AN ELECTION THE POLITICIANS ARE PRETENDING TO DO THEIR JOBS!

It currently takes 68 months to complete 80% of all FSW applications from all Visa Posts and the politicians now think these actions will help?????? LOL LOL LOL
That (sixty eight months) is not a 100% of FSW applications only 80%
WHERE ARE THEY GETTING THE STAFF? Has the Minister of CIC found some additional staff hiding under their desks?

I will admit that in the past I have voted conservative, but after being involved in immigration processes, I for one will not be voting conservative this election.
