Subject: term insurance for nonresidents |
Hi,
For those on study and work permits, do you have or do you know of a Canadian life term insurance for nonresidents?
I have life insurance from my home country but I would like to get term insurance to mitigate expenses in case I go pffft! while I´m here.
Thanks.

(in reply to: term insurance for nonresidents) Check out Blue Cross. We are using them until we have satisfied our 3 month residency requirement for medicare. Very inexpensive rates, as compared to employer based insurance in the US.

(in reply to: term insurance for nonresidents) Oops--that was for regular medical insurance. I misread. Sorry.
