Hi Roy!I would like to know whether its possible for non Canadians having Immigrant visa to buy Insurance for 3 months(As in Ontario medical OHIP card needs 3 months to make), in advnace in their country before supposed landing?any advise?

AS I posted earlier.
We were visited by a Sun Life Financial representative who dropped off a bunch of brochures. They do visitor Insurance and Insurance for New Comers to Canada. The representative name is Hemant Patil 416-412-0401 Ext 304 e-mail hemant.patil@sunlife.com

The issue as I see it is that probably all companies have this type of short term coverage but this brochure is sitting on my desk at the office. I found the guy to be a hard working caring person. You research you decide.
