Hi, I had applied for Canadian PR in Buffalo, NY. I had moved to the UK after completing the medicals. Now I have received the Passport stamping request which I need to apply to the Buffalo consulate in NY.
I have two questions,
1. can I send my passports to USA from UK? How safe is it?
2. Can I ask for extension of passport request so that I can plan to go directly to the USA for stamping.
Thanks for your help and answers.

(in reply to: Sending passports overseas for visa stamping) Passport request has a limited time and I don´t recommend you extend it.
Buffalo will re-send the passport to addresses in the US or Canada. Although you can send the passport from UK directly to the US using courier service (DHL/FEDEX), Buffalo will return it to only a local address. Using a friend´s address in the States is an option.

(in reply to: Sending passports overseas for visa stamping) I think CHC will return your passport based on your form ( which provide with PPR).
You can use " Royal International Signed for" service.
