First thing i read when i got the papers outside.
Its not only women from Philippines. there are lots out there who can speak better english but doing the same thing. MOC or economic marriages.
Funny that i too am a Filipina. From whatever country it could have been, its a fact and its degrading, (for those who dont grab these "desperate moves" (marrying foreigner to get visa). I dont blame my fellow filipinas...just like i cant blame if they are too poor, financially, mentally any without integrity.
But as immigration is concern, its really hard to prove real marriages by their own criteria.
Ive known a neighbor back home: the guy, (who was forced to marry to a family friend) jumped off the window, ran away and just got a strange woman to marry. NO courtship, no engagement. This woman was also shocked, marrying this stranger. But what happened? Until now, they are normally married for 40 years.
I also know a couple who had been dating and engaged for years, i think since they were high school...but after giving birth to a daughter, and the mother came home, what she saw at the front door was a packed bag of her husband, decided to leave the mother and the newborn baby.
Sad eh? we really CANT tell.
i guess CIC should REFORM this kind of immigration process regarding spouses.
any suggestions experts? Thanks...
p.s. how about Adam n Eve´s case?

So how much did his family care about his metal and physical state when he was alive? Now when he is dead, MONEY seems to be an issue with them.
Why would she not know her sisters address better then her husbands. Making the move half way across the world when possibly in recent months her husband had become distant due to his drinking would she not list her PR address with her sisters house.
Lets not condemn her with the facts of this story.
I for one would love to represent her.

Me either Roy. The woman said with all honesty her economic reasons BEFOREHAND for marrying him...and it was all fully knowledgeable to Spiller.
Spiller´s family may call him crazy.
If an apparently NORMAL person yet crazy behind WILLINGLY gave you something for what you HONESTLY asked;
should the beneficiary be probed for that?
Spiller could have changed the beneficiary earlier if he found out later that hes not totally insane marrying the Manila girl for obvious reasons.
its obviously money.
