i have applied for PR(SW) in january 2007
i cleared IELTS in february-2007.
recently i have got letter from CIC london to update my application fopr assesment.
can i submitt the same IELTS relsut, which i cleared in 2007?

Your IELTS result is valid for two years.

As mentioned on CIC website , for simplified application process , the IELTS test must be taken one year before the date of application and also can be taken within one year after application.
Your result is valid send it.

in this link it says that :
If you take the language test within one year of submitting your simplified application, the results remain valid and will be accepted as supporting documentation by the visa office

but i couldn´t find any information about validity of IELTS if taken before the smplified application
are you sure about this information ?

It was discussed before and I also comprehended as Raj that the test can be take before/within 1 year from the submitting of the application.
