Subject: children required for citizenship oath
My two daughter ages 13 and 5 are out of the country presently living with my parents. Is their presence required at the time of citizenship oath or not?

No, they don´t.

"Adults and children aged 14 or over must attend the citizenship ceremony and take the oath"

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/cit-ceremony.asp#who

My honest advice, try to do a little research in the official site, all general informations are there, very clear...
