| Subject: Received Work Permit, spouse in diff country. |

I received approval for a work permit. But the problem is my spouse has been living in Mexico for 18 months due to the strict immigration laws here in the states. I included my spouse in the application for the work permit, but, since my spouse is currently residing in a different country than I, would he still need to apply separately? Since Mexico is a country where he does NOT need a tourist visa, then can my spouse just hop on a plane and stay with me? What paperwork is needed for a safe and secure arrival? We will be arriving within a day of each other just one by plane and one by car.
