I applied about 2 months ago for Permanent Residency to Canada via Sponsorship from my Common Law Partner witch is a Canadian Resident residing in South Africa with me. I submitted my application to Mississauga from S.A and are getting a bit worried because I have not hered anything back yet...Should I be concerned and did I do everything correctly??

What mailing address do they have for your Canadian partner? The application to sponsor would have been looked at first and a decision made on whether or not they are eligible to sponsor. I would check where they have their mail sent. Also you can check eCAS to see if there is a decision made on the sponsorship. You should be able to use your receipt number for the payment of your application fees to check if you don´t have a case number yet.

That´s just the thing...She is a Canadian Citizen residing here in S.A with me, so her and my adress are the same....Otherwise how can we be Common Law Partners if were not living together?
I check everyday via my Receipt number and the 44 days are over and still nothing......
Also, I have done my police and medical certificates and sent that with the application....was this correct??
