That is good news. The problem is that Harper doesn´t want to offend the U.S., and as such would rather see them deported. Hopefully the courts will put a stop to that.

New Democrat MP Olivia Chow has it right. Canada should live up to its moral standards and allow them to stay. They face prison time for following their conscience on Iraq, which happens to be the same as Canada´s postion.

WOW

Richard another NDP supporter. PLEASE get Citizenship fast so you can vote for good logical thinking politicians. I´m suppose to pay $50.00 a month unlimited incoming calls but it is always a minimum of $200.00 per month. Those silly ATM fees as well....

Back to the issue at point Richard did you notice it was a first year Lawyer some firm let handle this case!

"Articling lawyer Alyssa Manning" won, the big boys in this firm will take all the credit but (((((WAY TO GO GIRL)))))!

If her middle name is Jean she works in Toronto.

FEW here or anywhere knows what it is like to win huge cases that scream to be won based on common sense and compassion.

I applaud you Alyssa Jean Manning. I will find you and shake your hand, our paths are bound to cross.

Job Well Done.

Yes thanks Roy, am very much interested in eventually getting citizenship. Want to feel part of the political process and excercise my civic responsibilities. NDP would be the way to go for me (and assume you?).

I´m trying to figure out which proivinces sway NDP or close to it, if any. Guessing Maritimes. NDP and prior versions of the party was born in Saskatchewan, as I understand.

one problem, where there is the NDP, the provincial economy is in the tank. (see ?tlantic Canada) BC flips every election. we still have not found a party in the middle.

Richard I told you Sharon was listening. LOL

The problem is their are only two potential Prime Ministers contending for the position. A Bully Stevie Harper and Jack Layton. I and Sharon really can not see Dion every taking the helm. Sooooooo Layton it has to be.

Universal Health Care was given to us by a NDP party. Manitoba with their limited resources has been NDP for years. Which Atlantic Province is NDP?

Being in Atlantic Canada when all you got is a potato farm, tiny farms, some trees and NO FISH left one has to depend on off shore OIL and the business man (Harper Oil) tried to screw the Newfies out of their fair share. The Tar Sands or what is left behind will be there for ever. It can be developed a lot better Bill.

Oh Bill those Bankers in the States where they Businessmen?
Did you see the CBC story/special about all the contracts ripping off the US tax payers. What about all those transport trucks going from point A to Point B in Iraq empty so the company can charge the US tax payer for a truck delivery nothing.

Bill business is important but crooks are in all areas.

Tar sands, are not located only in Alberta.
Saskatchewan has a fair share of oil as well as BC.
There provincial government though is the one who has to stop worring about hanging furns on the side of the road and start doing something that generates some income for the province.

I have to agree that Stevy is not the brightest star in the sky but how about Layton?

I think we have Dumb and Dumber and Dion....

The three stooges?

Let´s hope for the best on this elections!

Cheers

Bill
